Behind all the sacrifices of humans that the old Mayans did, it looks like there is some sort of immoral soul assimilation (in satanic style), the ultimate offering of blood to the gods. Sacrifice's culture is not only part from the old Mayans, old America and other places did too. Luckily, modern humans have moved away from it.
