People think the reason Adam & Eve were expelled from paradise is because God's a meanie that didn't want them possessing knowledge.
That they were expelled due to their intellectual curiosity in pursuing knowledge.

That's not why they fell.
They didn't fall because they desired knowledge.
People forget, Adam & Eve were in full communion with God & walked in the garden & spoke with God the way we speak with each other.
They could simply ask God anything they desired to know.

>For God doth know that in what day soever you shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened: and you shall be as Gods, knowing good and evil.

Did you catch it?

Adam & Eve fell because of idolatry.
