A cornerstone is the first brick laid at the corner of a building though in ceremonies, it's not literally the first brick for if it was, nobody would be able to see it so they put it somewhat above the ground on top of other bricks so it's not REALLY a cornerstone some could say unless if it's a huge block. A keystone is placed last as the completion of enlightenment as it is the last and most important structure maintaining piece to be placed for the arch, the center and above the two pillars. A capstone is for pyramids only, which the keystone and the capstone have similar meaning to them.
