>Why is it that so many people willingly sign off their lives to the Elite?
Why blacks join masonic lodges even though they are locked on being second class members (white freemason can visit any lodge, black freemason can only enter black lodges, that's one difference I remember but there must be more)? Bill Cooper said it's because they at least get to feel better than the rest of the blacks. The feeling of being special, elect, the best, better than the rest is very desirable to majority of people.
If you want a proof consider this: you're on an imageboard, a more secluded one at that. You probably have had some experience with it's dwellers and maybe have noticed there's usually an air of elitism around them, or at least it used to be a major component. Code words, obscure references, shock content - in a way imageboards function very similarly to an occult congregation, just one without definite hierarchy. They also very much play on the feeling of superiority that comes from belonging to a sekrit club. See the vid and if you can catch the references you'll notice that even the way the memes seep into the mainstream is somewhat similar to how you can find occult symbolism all over the media (though imageboards do it only for the lulz while occultists figured they can employ it to further their agenda).
I see the same with that wojak-normalfag-clone image, whatever it's called, and I think that whole 'one third of the people have internal monologues' was the source of it but don't quote me on that. Anyway it's just another way of making oneself and one's group special because we're not buzzword A. So you see, people have very powerful drive to feel superior to others, and there's no group with more power and status than the occult under the sun so those who figure that's the case and haven't reached emotional maturity graviate to it like moths to a flame, long term consequences be damned.
