I've been experimenting making ovenless cakes with mom since corona virus. The problem is that I've never been into cooking and mom has no idea about cakes. There's no oven because 3rd world diet doesn't need one and corona virus has cutoff cake mix in markets because it isn't essential.

Experiments with baking was horrible. Wheat and rice flour turned out really bad for making cakes. Baking soda was used instead of baking power which made cake feel like a brick and adding eggs made the cake smell disgusting.

Recently tried using flavored biscuits for the batter.
Biscuits pound to dust in a blender, with some sugar, milk, baking power and butter. Then, pour it on bowl, keep a mount-like arrangement on a hollow pan and shut it off to cook the batter with heat radiation.

The cake tastes better than the previous ones. Still need to go long way.
