I believe this corona virus pandemic is basically over. Life is slowly returning to normal and people are beginning to realize that the virus was far and away blown out of proportion. Effectively people have realized that the government has lied to them. Obviously the status quo won't change. People simply aren't willing to risk their own livelihood in order to risk something that is an unknown. Sure it maybe better than what they have now but they aren't willing to risk it. The main problem with people today is that they aren't willing to risk anything due to lack of any greater ideals. Corona in this case just reveals the weakness of the people in contrast to the people of the past.
