over the last month I've had to add

 --ytdl-raw-options=downloader-args='ffmpeg_i1:-http_persistent 0' 

to my mpv command lines when watching wni streams to prevent ffmpeg from trying and failing to keep a persistent connection to a particular youtube stream server, which caused timestamp discontinuities and unwatchably jumpy playback. It's the solution I found to this problem https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/8500
