Having thrown 500 hours at the earlier version, I can understand that. Suppose in a way I was lucky enough to not notice it.

That's actually just any Game Launcher ever. It's also why I hate game launchers. It's not because it's just "yet another game launcher", but because 90% of the time, they just don't fucking work.
