There's already another gacha game I'm gonna add to the list coming out next month...
Plenty of games are worse than their predecessor and are still good! That said, in this case, if you like MonHun, and you liked MHS2, you'd probably like it, but with MHS2 I remember liking enough that I would recommend it to any fellow mon game enjoyer, but I dunno with this one...
