Honkai didn't even have Zh voice acting at the start. Most Chinese games STILL have JP as the primary language they spend the most budget on.
And nah I don't think it has to do with that, I think they're genuinely just weebs
However I have noticed that as more and more national pride builds they do shift back to their own language.
Like MiHoYo games stepped up their Zh voice acting.
Oh and Taiwanese Mandarin is so much nicer to listen to than Mainland dialects...
