But yeah, Honkai was one of the games I was thinking of. Made purely for the weeb market.
Well there was the whole Star Rail controversy where they decided to cut the JP based region last minute because Takaishi doing some stuff that really pissed off the chinks like a month before it was supposed to come out lol
There was also an update of ZZZ where they made major rewrites to the story last minute, and they only made the effort to rerecord the CN voices in time for release, so for every other language like half of it was just unvoiced when it came out.
Yeah, Taiwanese sounding better than the mainland dialects sounds pretty right from my experience.

I thought she preferred mainland China? Although I guess considering multiple aspects of her identity might make it pretty hard to move there.
