I saw Alita battle angel some time ago. First of all I got recommended on YT the anime earlier. I liked it even though I'm not fond of Chinese cartoons normally. And then on the very next day they started advertising the live action movie everywhere around me and that's it is coming out soon even though it was in production years before. The anime made me go see it. Clever marketing. The story is about an engineer who finds a cyborg body in junkyard but he also finds out she's still alive so he brings her back to working condition and adopts as own daughter. But the world is a dystopian post apocalyptic future so she has to fight for survival and when she does she realizes she's programmed to be some super warrior. You know, I liked the movie but I don't think there's anything extraordinary about it. I would rather recommend the anime if it wans't for the fact they only animated half of the story and told people to go read the manga. But there was a big influx of superheroe movies recently and if you're tired of seeing it I think Alita is a great alternative.
