Sugarcoated term for delusion of knowledge. Pretty much every country I've travelled were much more and different from the "general impression" which are often agenda driven or just plainly ignorant. It promotes shallowness and people won't give up on it as long as their idiotic beliefs are challenged, it's how it works.
