All right a frank reply. Not long ago I went through this test, I see some changes were made but right now just can't be bothered to read the whole thing and give honest answers. Somewhat better then the politicaltest, there was another one, kinda difficult as it also dealt with regulating the budget (how much money should be spent on healthcare, research etc. in your ideal country or something like that) I can't remember the name now.
I'm not sure if it was a wise choice for a thread - I've seen much worse tho - , given our small numbers it will be clear soon how each of us think, what we keep important. Or not, there's always the possibility that one write such posts that doesn't reflect his personality or real opinion. Such is life on imageboards.

I can't.

well this imageboard we have is small but cozy I know people eventually get the know each other due to it's easy to distinguish one from each other, but if they want to express themselves they are free to.

Also I'm just bored, and the board is not too fast paced, so it's not like fucking the board up with shit threads.

What's happening in the Amazon basin (and South America's central savannah, but nobody talks about it) is merely human settlement, exactly as in every single other biome in the world. People moving in, developing virgin lands, building civilization. I don't mind if its conquest continues, as long as it's done in a responsible manner (which is sadly not the case) and some chunks are preserved.
But wanting to freeze all human development and leave it in its primeval state is unrealistic, preposterous and an offense to the people who do live there. The only people who think like that are a few foreigners and upper class Southeast Brazilians, not its actual inhabitants -some of whom are my relatives.

Changing something progressively means working with the same people who get used to do things in the shit way. I believe for real change one needs drastic measures.
I know it's corny to do such thing but here's a song the composers probably made it ironically but whatever. I already posted it in the music thread tho.

I also believe in Realpolitik and the reality says revolution isn't always possible and one always have to deal with the circumstances given and it's not always possible to change these.

How popular would be such board?

I found an old political compass result what I saved as "me.jpg" so I guess I did it. Before that I clearly remember my result was more toward the Authoritarian for a few squares and bit toward to the center.
I usually score "low" because I tend to chose options with "rather agree/disagree" over "absolutely agree/disagree" as for most questions I can always say: "ok I can answer this, but there can be quite a few exceptions" hence I cannot pick the absolutely agree/disagree choices.

I think it would be popular due to serious amount of shitposters, we're not in 2013-2014 anymore, in here literal social media kiddies make up the %80 of imageboard dwellers.

>I usually score "low" because I tend to chose options with "rather agree/disagree" over "absolutely agree/disagree" as for most questions I
kinda same

for example:
>Military action that defies international law is sometimes justified.
so if I strongly agree to that, do I become just a pragmatist guy or do I become someone desiring to have non stop dictatorships?

>First-generation immigrants can never be fully integrated within their new country.
for example if I strongly agree to that I think I become more authoritarian, but in my mind I'm just stating a fact. Stating a fact does not necessarily tells others to eat shit and die or whatever.

>Abstract art that doesn’t represent anything shouldn’t be considered art at all.
I have no idea how this represents anything political at all, I guess they fell for only gnadsis dislike "abstract art" meme.

>Astrology accurately explains many things.
This belongs to smart-retarded compass.

Again, most libertarian points come from fedora tippings.

Bernd 01/06/2019 (Sun) 13:48:23 [Preview] No.22099 del
I don't think about which answer give me what points, I just click how I feel the best. My problem is that several questions are just cannot be dealt with such simplistic way.
The political compass is also faulty in a way that it can't really deal with nationalistic ideas and just counts them toward the Authoritarian extreme. In previous discussion about this I suggested the idea of making a 3d diagram and organize the axis along the three big political ideologies: liberalism (freedom), nationalism (community) and socialism (equality).

Humans are irrational beings who love double standards and conflicting opinions. These tests just couldn't represent it.

It also hard to find an existing ideology for many combination of thought, like hardcore nationalistic anarcho-capitalism or something like this.

True, I guess we can't expect a simple algorithm to accurately represent human thought. But maybe you could say the same about political ideologies themselves, too. For me at least it's hard to identify my thoughts with a single ideology because I can see the advantages and disadvantages of each one. But maybe that just makes me a RADICAL CENTRIST like I got in the first test >>22181
>like hardcore nationalistic anarcho-capitalism or something like this.
I actually remember reading someone trying to justify something similar to this but with libertarianism. I believe the argument was that a truly free society should be allowed the freedom to decide who is and isn't allowed to enter their society. I guess something like that could work since AnCap is pretty much a more autistic form of libertarianism anyway.
Kek, I guess it's like combining every version of anarcho-autism into a single, extremely autistic ideology.

Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 15:30:46 [Preview] No.22195 del
>hardcore nationalistic anarcho-capitalism
Older generations of libertarians (who later took on the "paleolibertarian" name) were very socially conservative, and Hoppe in particular has something close to this. He envisions Amish-style communities, not necessarily in the Luddite sense, just in their membership protocol:
1) Nobody is forced to join the community
2) A member can renounce his membership whenever he wants
3) An individual can only enter with the members' consent
4) A member will be booted out if he deviate's from the community's standards of behavior
It's quite similar to a state, but great emphasis is placed on the "voluntary" character of membership (see also: Liechtenstein's laws on secession).
Thus, a community of nationalists can keep out foreign ethnicities. AFAIK his infamous quote on "physical removal" is actually about the community keeping out elements it doesn't want rather than hunting down and killing people he dislikes, as is often implied. He also believes that a state with strict immigration controls is a lesser evil to a state without them.
This is compatible with ancap ethics because they're not an all-encompassing moral system, just an opposition to a set of behaviors which are deemed coercion. Hence, ancaps can combine their ideology with pretty much anything else as long as they don't enforce their particular beliefs with those actions that are considered coercitive. Even a communistic society would be compatible, as long as its membership were voluntary. There are a million practical complications to this, but the theory behind it can be understood.

Interesting contrast with the strong punitive justice. From the other fields (progressism and reformism mostly) I would think you'd prefer rehabilitative.

Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 17:45:34 [Preview] No.22203 del
I just don't believe in rehabilitation, it rather creates economic stress on State.

Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 17:52:32 [Preview] No.22206 del
I see.
>it rather creates economic stress on State.
Well that would depend on how rehabilitation is realized. For example I would think by accustomating the criminals to work - and finding a field they have talent in - could potentially alleviate the cost, since they were doing something productive.

cont. Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 17:57:13 [Preview] No.22207 del
Let's say, they would be placed among horrible conditions. Then they would have to work. With their performance they could earn better accommodations, "luxury" items, better food etc. They could learn a trade beside the grunt work and get better job etc. So the value of the their production would decide how they live and would cover the cost. Something like this.

Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 18:11:44 [Preview] No.22209 del
High essentialism also stands out.

Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 18:15:23 [Preview] No.22210 del
I think criminals should electronic handcuffed and forced to work, it can be even cleaning forests as government dont employ people since even minimum wage is too much for them according to government.

plus, working keeps your mind busy. ora et labora motto was kinda right about keeping the soul fresh.

Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 19:15:37 [Preview] No.22211 del
It's hard to organize work for criminals, my choice is to fine minor crimes, but utilize bodies of major offenders (donarship & medical experiments).

Yes. Those in the system also needs to keep busy, full schedule all day.

I would argue Soviet Union organized very easily work for "criminals".
That's an interesting use of human resource.

Bernd 01/09/2019 (Wed) 23:05:16 [Preview] No.22228 del
The problem with getting prisoners to work is that, if the state begins to manage them to turn a profit (not even a bad thought, as they become less of a burden on society and can repay the damage they've done), it then has incentives to keep them in jail for as long as possible and reduce them to slave-like conditions.

Bernd 01/10/2019 (Thu) 06:13:45 [Preview] No.22229 del
Well then that's a punitive system. And corruption. Good example - I think I shared that article but I cannot find it - a pal of a Hungarian minister got prisoners to work on his fields for free earning some tidy profit in the end.
But you really have a hard time not to think of the state as a third party. With time I hope.

Even a completely selfless state could do that. It's just a matter of what society wants to do with the criminals it has placed under arrest, and wheter it accepts placing a burden on public property and public finances to help people who have already damaged them. Sometimes society doesn't care at all and just wants punishment.

Bernd 01/10/2019 (Thu) 16:16:55 [Preview] No.22234 del
I guess this is one of the problems with anarchism, it will always evolve into something resolving a state anyway because that's just human nature. Though in that sense it would be a voluntary social contract, so most anarchists would approve.

I think an anarchist system would probably evolve eventually into something like medieval Europe where there are lots of small, local states rather than a unified all-encompassing one that most countries have now, escpecially if it was an AnCap system with the focus on land ownership since a king is essentially just a large-scale landowner anyway.
Wew lad I haven't even heard of any of those on the left.

The only real issue I take with my result being a feeling that regulationism is over represented. I mistrust devotion to purely public or private solutions. One needs a bit of both to keep things honest. I am biased in favor of regulation over laissez-faire, just not so much as shown.

That "pragmatic" comment's a fair cop. If anything, I'm proud of that label.

Good personality.
But it is based not on the real Speer but on the Speer icon he masterfully crafted over the years. He was actually not as aloof as he painted himself and quite image savvy, molding popular opinion to his will. His armaments miracle, though not false, was a joint economic-propaganda project and had critical issues. And later on, like Manstein and other generals, he grealy exaggerated his distance from Hitler and his status as just an un-ideological genius tirelessly working on the task he was given.

Not really, it's a varied selection.

Posts on an imageboard give a lot of hints, but are an incomplete expression of a personality. They're made from a narrow range of contexts (free time), over a narrow range of topics (kc tier themes) and to a narrow range of receivers (Bernds). Elsewhere Bernds can write or speak in completely different ways.
But reading a lot of posts and making guesses is still a better method of personality interpretation than any test like this. Like you've said, it's astrology. Point #6 hardly applies to me, I'm often naive.

What exactly does constructivism versus existentialism mean?

Bernd 03/18/2019 (Mon) 06:07:56 [Preview] No.23836 del
That's essentialism. Some questions inquire if you think stuff inherently are what they are, for example negers are lazy because they are negers. Well not this heavy handedly.

Not sure if Donitz is the exact opposite though. Apparently they don't have someone similar but with extroverted tendencies.

Bernd 03/20/2019 (Wed) 17:50:58 [Preview] No.23923 del
"Murderous villains" can't be extroverts they mostly hide their nature, even for those who seem to be social that is just an act which they use to manipulate people so they can reach their own goals. No?

Bernd 03/20/2019 (Wed) 21:16:25 [Preview] No.23926 del
No, extroversion mostly refers to people who happen to be more social or have an easier time reaching out to people. Most people have secrets or information or underhanded motivations they'd rather keep to themselves. Extroverts just have an easier time filling in conversational gaps while introverts would just rather not, or they just can't. For example, there's Ted Bundy who managed to have a healthy social life and professional career even while being a killer. Compare that to someone like Ed Gein who was remembered as reclusive and strange. A social killer is as extroverted as a social person since both can hold secrets and may engage in social behavior for underhanded purposes (i.e. the social person may cheat on a spouse or maybe they have a disease they can't bring up in polite conversation)
Also someone here got Mao and the test classified him as an extrovert.

Regulationism and revolutionism is also an interesting pairing. Regulation would assume applying changes methodically and from the position of authority. Revolution however applies changes drastically and suddenly, initiated from below. So together they make an oxymoron.

Rated for national-anarcho-capitalism. Kek.

>>Capitalism 62%
>>Regulationism 45%
>I'm confused
Capitalism itself doesn't go against regulationism or vica versa. I isn't a coincidence that the latter was paired up laissez-faire. A capitalist system could be strictly regulated, but then the question would be more like who is doing the regulation? Maybe a council of private corporations?

>Would get in a fisfight with
Why? The only major difference is on economical level. Not that I'm not ready for that brawl.

>Would've expected lower communism from someone who is experiencing socialism
The problem isn't with socialism or communism, it is very preferable for large masses. Even here people like socialistic policies, despite we had 40 years of it. The problem during that decades originated chiefly from the fact that it doesn't developed from our will, it was forced on us by a foreign power. And in the first years it was in it's most extreme form: Bolshevism and Stalinism.

I would be for more regulationism if rich people wouldn't run away from the country and take their money to tax havens. Originally Adam Smith approved progressive tax system but nowadays the world is more global and it benefits the top rich people more than the rest of the population. So sadly, I would have to think twice before regulating and taxing them more.

What kind of questions put you on an axis of rehabilitative vs. punitive justice? That's not how any of this shit works, the axes we have is rehabilitation, either through justice vs. education (before vs. after anything bad happens), and damage control through controlling for human error or controlling for technical error.

This test is probably pretty shit.
