Yea but that's contract law which I know would most probably play out that way. I've told you it depends on the charges.
On the other hand if you charge him with intent to deceive (with I dunno, let's say something like emotional ruin as a parallel to financial ruin when someone scams you with false info on stocks) then the burden of proof would be higher and you'd have much much harder time.
Anyway I don't even know if you can charge someone under contract law for charitable work since no money exchanged hands so you're probably shit outta luck buddy.
