/sp/ was a board made up of a half dozen or so spastic anons who only cared to shitpost gibberish all day long and hardly cared to debate anything of relevance. I'd call them "the internet's couch potatoes" similar to those in the 70s, 80s and 90s watching TV all day with their buddies eating food and drinking beer. That's OK to do every once in a while but very unhealthy physically (and mentally) if done day after day after day. Remember MTV's "beavis and butthead" cartoon? That's /sp/ in a nutshell.
