it doesn't even matter if they are-- because theres no goalposts with you. they could be posting their proof of employment, education etc and you would just change whatever your saying to fit your beliefes
ie "oh they are engineers? well i bet they're not good ones. oh they are good engineers? well i bet ...." and so on so on. its a never ending battle against a delusional opponent.
