>where the BO of pol has claimed 7 or 8 other pol boards, just so the traffic gets redirected to his
I don't know what happened to /news/ but other alternative /pol/ boards were claimed after their BO's left them unattended right? And they did that because there was no traffic and that happened because there never was a /pol/ here that wasn't under a fullblown nazi occupation, other that the very begginings.
>because the 8ch model doesn't work to attract and keep individual users.
8ch model has nothing to do with why it's failing. The tools are there. It's the users that are not making use of them because most of the people that remained there are drones that don't care how mismanaged they are. Having it admin team supervised didn't change much in the past. Take a look at 7chan or 888chan. One started because of disagreement over moderation and the other because of a turmoil like that of gamergate - chanology. They're both largely dead now, at least compared to what they were. If they had the superior model then how? I can only think of a /jp/sphere as a successful get-away-from-4chan civilisation but they didn't make entire boards just several separate /jp/'s so it's not exactly applicable to this discussion.
No matter the model 4chan is not going to be beaten. Even a bimbo on a silver screen will talk about a hacker known as 4chan. This is why it's alive and also why it's shit.
>i bet there fucking was.. hmmmmm, what could possibly explain why they're not here anymore?
Yea you have to bet because all that knight/gray anon OC had made itself.
Didn't want to post that because drama is largely over and resolved but I wanna wipe that smirk of your ignorant face.
Read up and check the daily graphs from around that period:
There was a window of time when 8chan was having technical problems and people dissatisfied with what has become of IRCwheels haven't all found a place to move. See images. Problem is several sites were trying to get a piece of that traffic Librechan, Finalchan, 16chan, dare I say it Freech and Endchan but Endchan has made it's flop so didn't fare too well. Most of the above had the plug pulled off by now spare for Finalchan. Finalchan is a great counterpoint btw. It's the model you prefer and it's still as dead as endchan or even more, depending on the period.
>because they all want to make their own shitty board, and second they dont because theres nobody here
Who are we talking about? What reasons do they have for not consolidating? Oh yea we're talking about literally noone. And there's noone here because the reputation took a nosedive at a critical point and, though I don't know the details, endchan has been made into something of a boogeyman at 8chan, or so I've heard.
>more like mismanagement of its main boards combined with site instability
That came later, when userbase was pretty much unsalvageable anyways safe for those little boards scattered around that loom so large in your mind.
>you know damn well what im talking about
People tend to use slurs without much thought about what the slur means. So most are on /pol/ and most would get banned on boards that want mod issued quality control. Isn't /b/ here like the official endchan board or something?
If not here's an idea
. There's a way to satisfy you without the need to throw away user board creation altogether, just have /b/ as official admin supervised board and we'll see how it'll fare. Maybe not officialy but /b/ already kinda worked like a hub, a place for newcomers to come to, a conservatively but not too strictly moderated general board, but it kinda died out anyway. I bet it's the little empty boards that are behind it.
