>Contradiction.
Like I said, I've been in my own bubble for longer than 8/pol/ existed. On older /pol/ places, you had people who would identify as WN or NS or Nazi because of weird hangups over words. Frankly no zoomer is saying they are an ARYAN NATIONAL SOCIALIST like the old memes dunking on skinheads, they are calling themselves Nazis.

>I've seen it mentioned many times. Seems like software for anon IB. I've never been a script kiddie
meguca.org was an anime oriented imageboard founded in 2013 iirc that ran its own eponymous imageboard engine. The distinguishing feature is liveposting, letting users see each other type. Later the site acquired a /pol/ that was very influential for a while and got taken down not long after imo a false flag terror attack in Halle in Germany. The meguca engine was popular for a while in Russia, but didn't take off much in the west.

>8chan stuff
No offense anon, but I'm not an 8chan nostalgic and I don't need the history lesson there. meguca/pol/ left 8/pol/ in 2017 and we were never fans of mason Jim, the midget or kampfy and the knights templar mod clique. We used to troll kampfy regularly.

>Had a few good years until the literal shit storm (automated spammed shit pictures across the whole site). That killed traffic. It's a dead end.
I'm not naive. We've had years of spam, including some that made an entire site impossible to post on. Ultimately it's about community motivation to stick together in some form. We have a unique culture and some community events that kept us together. I'm not surprised that a place which was just "/pol/ but better" had issues. No offense, but there is a reason that /mlpol/ also has more activity than most other /pol/s put together. You need something unique to fight the entropy of "4chan isn't always that bad and at least it's fast".

>The reason behind that
Haven't you ever seen the lemmings pic? Most people go with the flow and aren't going to dedicate their life to being political. It's why Hitler could take power and why de-Nazification worked.
