I lived in Dalmatia for 5 years, between Split and the island of Brac it was the worst living experiences I've ever had. Zagreb is fine, but when you get out to the Dalmatia you're dealing with eons of inbreeding with an average IQ of around 75, less on the islands. I could write on-and-on of all the bullshit but the thing that finally got me to sell my house and GFTO was that my neighbors (2 of them) poisoned my cats. It was a military grade toxin that also killed a local dog, 3 kuna and the birds that ate on the kuna. Killed them in less than 5 minutes. Many other stories of animal cruelty, but fuck that place. Never fucking going back!
