/pol/ and /b/ will establish creative teams to create video games of high quality.

/pol/ and /b/ will not create games for themselves or those who are already of the same mind as themselves, but games that will become widely popular among the normal gamer population.

the games will get away what they can get away with without revealing any ties to political perspectives unpopular in the mainstream (IE. National Socialism, "White Nationalism", "Alternative Right"/"Far-Right", and the like).

However, the games will not contain any elements that cater to "mainstream" or "left-wing" politics, either, simply by not giving a fuck about politics, we will be superior to 99% of the crap being put into the market by mainstream studios.

the games must be good enough to compete with major studio productions, this is not difficult in the video game world, where indie titles made by nobodies outsell IP's by established companies on a regular basis, even when made with a small team and low budget (this is why games are a good place to build a starting foundation for reclaiming our culture).

the purpose of this operation is this:
1. to disrupt cultural hedgemony, by simply being a popular source of entertainment media that remains out of (((their))) control, we disrupt the monopoly they require to program people's minds.
2. the studios we create will become a source of employment, organization, and revenue, it will be a place for us to meet others with similar political interests and beliefs, a place we can offer a position in to anyone whose employment has been ruinated by bastards, and it helps us generate funding for other purposes.
3. eventually the studios will develop a relationship of trust with the rather-large gaming community, and we can start to insert political content into our media, we must do this slowly and in small amounts, first with trace elements of the easier stuff, and gradually working towards lots of the hardest stuff via increments over the course of a long span of time (talking over generations here).
the point is to make each step into enlightenment as easy and simple as possible for the least receptive members of our audience.

Also, we could include SOME of our political perspective in thew works we create, but they'd have to be subtle, and they would have to be set in a fantasy or sci-fi setting, one divorced from the real world, and using entirely fictional events, individuals, and groups as stand-ins for real ones. We cannot be too blatant, or we would give the media anything to attack this with or they will do their best to scare away those we wish to reach from it, remember, the media who writes about games does not play them, but they do hear about the content from those who do play them.
3. if we become popular and wildly successful they will make an offer, at that point our organization would have grown enough for someone with loose enough integrity or lacking enough intelligence to sell will be able to do so, but before then we will have done some serious damage, everything after is damage mitigation on their end, if they offer to buy at a time when we are smaller and less famous, it's unlikely we'd have anyone who would fall for their lie-filled pitch and phony claims of "insurance", lastly, we can make not one studio, but many, since most won't be successful (capitalism - 60% of businesses fail), having many at once is the optimal approach, and multiple sources of damage are difficult to mitigate without drawing to much attention to the "man" behind the curtain.

I don't know, usually the team is formed first, then a pitch is made, the idea for the pitch is usually altered into the agreed upon concept for the game, and production begins, things usually change further over the course of production, and the end result is then checked over and finalized, during which some more changes are made to the product's idea and finally the product gets tested to see if it can be improved further before it's fully released, and even after release, it's probably in beta or something, though if it's a full-development release there is usually still alterations, perhaps optional ones down the line in the form of expansion.

TL;DR rather than someone thinking something up that is completely flawless and everyone agreeing to make it, usually an idea that is full of holes gets turned into something awesome through many revisions via a group's members each making their own changes to the original.

that is why it doesn't matter if a say something that has some major issue, because we should instead find the good in it and propose changes to make the idea better, instead of just saying "x is wrong about y, therefore all of y must be disregarded", we say "x is wrong about y, so how about z instead? - that would make y a better plan, if we replaced x with z".

I personally don't have any ideas, I'm not a creative, the proposal was for creative anons to make something successful by getting together and making something of good quality that flies under the radar and by not outing themselves as being /pol/acks. The game itself doesn't have to be political at all, simply by virtue of being made by anons, it will stand out on it's own apart from the garbage that has become the norm simply by lacking the SJW elements that have become present in every game.

All lot of us, myself included, used to love stories of speculative fiction (science fiction, fantasy, etc.), whether recent or old, this love had nothing to do with the leftist elements that were in every form of fiction at the time, but because the ideas unique to such genres could tell stories more realistic genres just couldn't, and they opened our imaginations to new possibilities.

rekindle your inner fire of imagination, all we have to do is make a game, any game, that lacks the s-jew elements, and make it good, we can tell that story you always wanted to tell, implement those gameplay mechanics you always wanted to see, use the characters, creatures and setting you've thought up.

If you don't have an idea for a full game, but just a part of it, post that here. Show us your sketches, explain your system, tell us even your ideas for even a fraction of a storyline, etc.

feel free even to just cite some of the genres you think would be great: first person, third person, open world, branching paths, 2D, 3D, turn-based, action, rpg, horror, etc.

So in rereading the end of my last post, I wanted to clarify this idea/ref as phrased clumsily;

I here refer to an "mental/gamecentric ancestry of a game" if you will, that is to say, Bethesda did not per se, take over the work of Bryan Fargo and his team, but the rails they laid (WASTELAND and Bard's Tale) were just used by a new train, (ES and Fallout) that tried to breath a similar life tho being new in terms of game tech. (lousy description of a concept but the games speak for themselves)

gameplay is broken into two parts

part 1: planning - third person turn based movement (like xcom but from third person perspective of the character you control), first person lock-on aiming/actions. (like vats in fallout).

part 2: execution - you, the enemy, and all other parties move and act at the same time, your characters carrying out the actions you planned in the first step if they are possible, making corrections on their own (for example, if a path you planned to a destination is blocked off, they will instead head towards the destination by another route, if an enemy you've targeted moves, the character will aim at where the enemy has moved to. etc.) the character is also limited in what they can do by their stats (for example speed and stamina for how they can travel about)
This is also a system inspired by xcom, and you can even set characters to do things a certain way, such as to avoid being spotted by enemies while moving about.

basically the strategy comes from planning moves while predicting what the enemy will do, the "turn-based but both sides move on the same turn" is a system for a thinking gamer.

your goal is to take over different areas and hold them from being captured, the longer you continue to hold an area, the more it develops and the more advantages it offers you, you can even instruct a base to construct specific facilities which would fulfill a specialized role and change the appearance of the base, you can also allow the base to improve itself, in which case it will try to provide the best average of all the advantages that it can, reach location is unique, and some benefit more from certain facilities than others, furthermore, each location has certain aspects that prohibit the building of certain facilities in them (such as a land-locked base not being allowed to build a seaport, or an underwater base not being able to build an airport), in addition, each location has facilities that are unique to them, and can only be built on that location, such unique facilities offer special advantages which greatly change your game (yeah, they are wonders).

bases can be attacked and if you can see the attack coming, you can set up defenses and prepare to defend, if they hit you by surprise, you simply rally your disorganized troops on the spot to defend. some facilities are defensive, such as walls, traps, surveillance, or other obstacles, and these will all be able to play to your advantage when under seige.

for example, you have external cameras that reduce your chance of a surprise attack, a wall and security doors that slow the enemy down, automatic turrets which fire at them, etc.

Here is my ideas for a game: it is an open world horror game

you play as a homeless guy who is a drug dealer/junkie, and gambling addict, someone who recently stole from a dead body to sustain his vices, all around scumbag, the game begins when you die, turns out, you stole from the wrong body (which belonged to you best friend who recently OD'd while in a car with you, you didn't know he was doing a job as a courier when he chanced to see you), first, you get stabbed, then you are caught wandering around and shot to pieces. Then the horror begins.

it appears that your soul is destined for hell, even though you protest that you weren't a bad person. however, lucky (or or rather unlucky) you, your soul is one of the rare types that gets to avoid their fate and become a ghost instead (at last for awhile).

You get picked up by two of the older varieties of ghost, whose astral forms are now changed to the point where they are completely unrecognizable as having ever been human, might as well be demons. they decide to fix you up, and teach you about the new world, your new abilities, etc.

the two ghosts first try to talk to you while you are dying, but not dead yet, but they realize that it's not simple shock they are dealing with, but "all the shit in his veins", "bleed it out of him", and this is the first demonstration of a ghost's power, they cause your veins to expel lots of blood and all the drugs at once.

the game is set in las vegas and the broader nevada, the world of the dead las vegas, you can look around and talk to the other unfortunate souls around, do quests, etc.

everything you do in this world affects you, including the way you look, most of the older ghosts no longer even resemble the humans they used to, and look all sorts of weird, they also are the most powerful around here, it's the rare ghost who survives for long.

even rarer is the one who keeps their sanity, you mind is also affected, and some of the "monsters" you will face, are old ghosts whose minds have twisted to the point of madness.

also, who becomes a ghost is seemingly random, it's a rare event, but there seems to be no clear pattern of who is so unfortunate to find themselves wandering the dusk, some are the type to have just become quite inhuman right off the bat when they die, there does seem to be a tie between trauma or intense emotions and become a ghost, but it's no guarantee, and there are also those who lived ordinary lives yet found themselves lost after death.

you used to be an artist, and so that affects a lot of your design and abilities in the deadworld, so to does your life as a total PoS loser, out you used to be a good person, and you are affected by that as well, this game has the theme of first admitting your own accountability for the life you lived, and using this opportunity to redeem yourself, even under hellish circumstances (it's implied that even hell is better than this place).

here, the dead can die, and there are a lot of things to worry about, first of all, other ghosts, there are politics in this realm, and you must navigate this to survive, this, in addition to the ghosts who have gone mad and are a danger to other lost souls as well as to people in the real world.

second, you need to deal with "reapers", these are otherworldly spirits that come to collect lost souls, no one knows where they take you, they aren't judges, merely transporters charged with cleanup work, these aren't your typical hooded skeletons, either, they can take any form they wish, and alter the landscape of this realm for their purposes, they are smart, and know everything about their designated target, often using their abilities to "persuade" the soul into collection, they can take the form of the ghost of your childhood crush who has always felt the same way, you reconnect and now she's inviting you for a dance. or maybe you wake up in bed, it was all a bad dream, and your mother is calling you to breakfast. but for you, you have no such pleasant memories, and that's okay, your reaper can do their thing with the horrible traumas you gone through, they can even up it for good effect.

the reaper segments are the most surreal and terrifying parts of the game, but also a place for your character's backstory to be revealed, discovering how a sweet young boy turned into such a loser. It's also a place for redemption (face the past, admit your guilt, show yourself as willing to change), further damnation (fuck it, this world was terrible to you, so you need to be even worse to it, be glad of the sins you committed, it was not only their fault, but they deserved it too, it was my life, I could do with it whatever I wanted! whose to say I loved it wrong? #noguiltnoshame), or simple survival (just trying to get through the encounter, not getting involved in the "plot" of these illusions borne of events past, just play like a typical survival horror), each of which can make you stronger, so even though these encounters are risky and intended to be harrowing, surviving them is also rewarding.

your reaper cannot be killed, and will always follow you around throughout the game, the reaper is more of a haunting event than a being, so rather than a nemesis-like character stalking you, it's more like mobile hallucinations, or a pocket dimension following you around, you can be in one and not even realize it until things turn really trippy, so you don't even know when you are being tested.

finally, there are other creatures lurking this world, all kinds, be it strange, grotesque, creepy, beautiful, etc. not all are friendly, in fact, there are many which would like nothing more then to consume your soul. these beings are the native inhabitants of the duskworld, borne from the minds of the living, or they are borne from the souls that find themselves lost here. most of them can be friendly and even useful, some are intelligent and can act as npc's proper (though they can also be enemies), others are animals, and others are relentless predatory monsters that are always hostile.

the world of the dead is itself a living creature, initially a straight reflection of the living world, it has changed over time, different areas of it have changed in different ways, producing wildly variable environs to explore, the creatures native to this landscape are it's "children", and which creatures you find change according to the area as well.

the duskworld is based off of the real world, but has twisted so much over time that you need to look to find the similarities, the world of the dead has lots of unique features that can be useful to you, resources to be harvested, hazards to be avoided, items to be looted, etc.

you get access to weapons and armor, and powers, which grow over time, you can even reenter the world of the living and pretend to be alive again, or do so by possessing someone and living as them for a bit, this is the most useful ability, but interacting with the real world it draws all sorts of the worst attention to you, so only do it if you are sure you won't get caught.

speaking of which, those bastards that killed you, you can haunt their asses and even kill them once you get powerful enough, in fact, the game's main plot will require you to do some haunting of the real world, and will include the possibility of using certain abilities of yours to kill some mortals, or you can simply become physical, or possess someone and use that body to do it in the normal sense too (shooting them, etc.) but where is the fun in that? you want to make the walls bleed, drag some shmuck screaming down to hell, and shit like that.

remember, that this is chance for you to redeem yourself or to damn yourself even further, so just because you could, should you? (we'll make doing good things with the powers look cool as well, so don't worry)

as I said, this is a horror game, everything from the environment, creatures, characters, items, equipment, and even the character themselves is intended to be freaky in one sense or another. that doesn't necessarily mean "ugly", in fact, a gore-fest this will not be, rather, you will be entering many different situations and contexts, each with element multiple different types of horror.

some are more psychological, other more visceral, others more surreal, and others appear nice but unsettling, all kinds of horror, but all are meaningful, and have a reason to be the way they are.

So it's a mix of Ghost trick, Disco Elysium, Yume Nikki and Hotline Miami. Seems like a lot going on. Maybe try to structure everything before moving forward. How would the gameplay be like? Third person, 1rst person, Dungeon crawler?

When you make a game, you need to keep a lot of factors in mind before moving forward with everything. How people are going to play it is a really important thing to keep in mind

Your whole approach is whack OP. You suggest making a game in which the author's opinion is not obvious to the player, but then you heavily detail you political motivations for doing so and how you want your art to effect the world. No matter what, this will result in contrived rubbish coming out of your brain, that is heavily on the nose.

Getting inspired material out of your brain, without your personal biases leaving an ugly impression is actually very difficult, but is key to making art that hold wide appeal, and isn't pandering. It is very necessary for an author to detach themselves emotionally from the subject matter, so that they are writing about something that has a mind and life of its own, the author being a mere vessel for the story. A wider audience will tend to find this more appealing, as it doesn't result in pandering to an individual's view on things.

This is why people of a left wing or liberal leaning have been more dominant in the creative fields historically, although that is less true these days as the left wing mind set has changed significantly, and those outside of the modern leftist bubble have nuanced and cross talked quite significantly. None the less, the very nature of being liberal, or even just having some liberal traits, makes for easier abandonment even of ones own convictions, so that the position of neutral observer may be taken up in the world they have created. Because people of a more conservative mind set gravitate towards moral and philosophical views of a sensible, straight up and objective nature, well and good that they do, but it is harder to move from these positions as they are tested and provide stability. However true this is, a writer must still drop their convictions when they go into a creative world, or they will just create propaganda.

Also, not your personal army. Not your personal dev team. You shouldn't want the inhabitants of any public image board in a highly sophisticated technical project, there are some significant risks in this. Read up more on what is involved in a good game pitch, it looks nothing like this. What you've presented in more what one might arrive at once a team has found approval or funding, and now wishes to flesh out and green light their creative idea. Start with a simple idea and work out from it

Try meditation, read up on occult subject matter, read literature. Try to branch outside of your pool of interests. Make leaps into genres you've never tried and never liked before, and just endure them to give yourself experiences outside of your liking. Consider *with much sensibility* trying the use of psychedelics, after reading the above mentioned and things specific to modern psychedelic therapies. There's actually an increasingly solid empirical evidence base around certain psychedelics and how they ought to be used to a person's benefit, and it has actually been coming out of reputable institutions and colleges not flooded by neo-left wing brain washing.

tl;dr if you set out to do something creative, and then announce where you intend to arrive, you are going to arrive somewhere very predictable, contrived and mediocre. Throw some chaos in there. Don't just expose yourself to what you want to see and believe. definitely try different avenues for hiring.
