From an American perspective I see the USA heading towards the same level of tyranny as Russia already has, no? We are seeing more and more censorship of our news media too. Just a couple days ago the most popular high rating TV news host who pointed out corporate & governmental corruption in the US has been fired. He was top rating #1 on Fox News, yet they still fired him for speaking unwanted truth. We are seeing more of this censorship on social media too. Now politicians are pushing the RESTRICT Act which would criminalize political dissent, outlaw our freedom of speech and press. Americans may have it better than Russians - for now. If we keep going down this path not for very long. We need to start speaking out before it is too late to do so.
