Learning Hungarian might help to get the notion and the feeling how an agglutinative language works. Get used to the logic. But it won't help out with any other language as far as vocabulary goes. You might learn Hungarian but won't recognize a single Mansi or Khanti. You could learn Japanese and end up with the same result.
It's not like learning a Slavic language and you more or less will get the others too.
I don't want to discourage you, and I commend your idea.
