Well, we are reaching the end of the year, if not already for the countries at the east of the globe.
Sometimes...things don´t have to be propelled to the same pace as it´s been taken for granted. Not only are we talking about the board in itself but also the franchise in general. This news may go underreported within some fan circles but it´s incredibly important to communicate this.
Amongst all the doom and gloom that you may have been reading in some places about the fandom is dying and all that doomer noise, 2025 may have proven that the fanbase may be more resilient over the years in terms of impact than what was assumed at first glance.
Before ending the year, this should uplift the fans out there who have endured this test: =2025 is the first year since 2003 without getting any new media content from official sources==
You´ve heard that correctly: the fandom has withstood the test of time with the cancellation of gen 5 as well as the void of content for this entire year. There´s no greater proof of resilience than the absolute independence of activity from the main sources that feed it in order to keep the trend alive.
I wanted to share this before bidding farewell to this year. Uneventful, yes...but not necessarily negative. In fact, I think that it´s healthy to take a break because, remember:
