Big Macintosh and Granny Smith both seem to be discorded, but Berry Punch isn’t. Did Discord discord them? Is there some other type of creature or process going around automatically discording ponies? Does getting discorded just sometimes happen in response to Discord’s chaos, sort of like how Twilight was temporarily discorded when she lost heart? Very confusing, but there is something funny about the fact that at least theoretically, Berry Punch had superior willpower to pretty much the entire Apple family. Maybe she drank to take the edge off and that made all the difference.

This second part pretty much redeems the first for me and had the stuff I wanted to see out of Discord, I just still think it’s a shame we didn’t get two full episodes to focus on it. I’d say this second part is about an 8.8 for me, inching just above Sonic Rainboom.
