I think the main reason we have such a gap is that I have, at least here, a higher tolerance for letting things slide that don't make logical sense perfectly. There is two sides to that though: one the one hand, I think it is flawed to compare real world standards too strongly to a fantasy world such as this; on the other, internal consistency logical consistency of the work I place as high of a value as you do and I think where I can concede a point here if not outright agree is that the Royal Canterlot Voice is inconsistent with her appearance in Season 1 and hard to explain away, though I am less certain on the assumptions you make on speculation branching from it.

Anyways, I suppose that is more of an PoLS for now. Hope to get to the next review soon!
