Well, we are going back to the show discussion again, the mid-hiatus is almost over but we have a new episode to judge.
Not episode 14 but the 18th one for some reason, it has aired officially and here we have it again.

Now, what do I think of it? How do I reflect my thoughts on this one?

For the first time ever, I have had serious doubts on how I should judge it, neither the positive opinions nor the negative ones have managed to convince me despite having some good points on both sides.

Some say that they liked it and other claim it as one of the worst episodes ever.....that confused me a lot because while it´s not a masterpiece at first watch, I didn´t see it as a Non-Compete Clause nor an apparent atrocity so I guess the episode has quality or not depending even more by subjectivity. That alone causes a lot of polarizing opinions and you can see it in the future either as a good episode or an animated atrocity. My review is based on experience and how I have felt watching it.

In the first watch, I...don´t know if I enjoyed it much because while it was interesting to see Pinkie going mad and depressed again (with a grey insanity), I didn´t feel how this episode had the objective to transmit a clear message. I didn´t know if it played with the subtlety or if it´s the complete opposite of Horse Play because the mane 6 (in particular, AJ) had realize and pointed that out, saying the truth that Pinkie was a bad musician at playing the "sax" (both the viewer and the cast notice how horribly she plays despite the fitting tense music at the start).

But I have had several questions because I hadn´t rated it at all nor I wanted to judge with heat. I could say it was shit but I couldn´t point out why or I could give a positive view but without a solid explanation.

How is it that it has been the Summer Special? Why exactly this episode? Why do they try to highlight Pinkie with this episode as something unique when it doesn´t deliver nothing extraordinary at first sight?
