However, I saw a peculiar post in /mlp/ in which that anon explained how Pinkie wanted to have an interest on Yak culture and why the sax feels important to her. It´s almost like a headcanon but it could be that she feels static and doesn´t have any future plans unlike Twilight (princess duties and teacher), Rainbow Dash(joining in the Wonderbolts), Rarity (with her boutiques) and Fluttershy (with a natural park for her to take care). So, she could have felt tense and wondering what she could do for herself. The yak culture, the official pony ambassador for them and now this instrument could explain subtly that she also feels nervous or uncomfortable how her friends progress in their lives and she doesn´t.

I am not paid nor a shill who wants to defend this show at any time, but in the 2nd watch, I didn´t feel uncomfortable nor had something in my mind that prevented to me to enjoy it. It shows the development and reactions about how Pinkie feels with her friends´reactions. The Mane 6 acted very reasonably and thought about how to tell her that she is bad and they knew how Pinkie takes her emotions. However, here it´s subtly dark because it shows in some scenes how someone in a depressed state, cannot enjoy anything even if you have always enjoyed it. Feeling an emotional void and not having your personal preferences in the right positions could drive huge misunderstandings and it feels that Pinkie is annoyed with her friends.

She feels empty and she hasn´t looked down her friends just that she personally isn´t capable to fill her mood nor overcome a bit her sad mindset (not even by listening to it). The moral, in theory, is that she can do whatever she wants. Nonetheless, there are two important details to consider: the mane 6 admitted that she was bad constantly and Pinkie herself confessed that she wasn´t good so she asked why they were clapping; and secondly the yak said that if they saw that Pinkie was happy, they would follow. I imply here that they all knew she was bad but encouraged her because the yaks have not a pony playing their sax and they feel proud of seeing some interest on them despite the quality. So, this support is more of a cultural thing if we consider this.

So here they are my own observations on it. I haven´t been capable to give it a rating.
I will say that I have been confused for the first time and for the 2nd time, I rewatched it today and it felt alright in terms of personal enjoyment but I still don´t know where to rank it (like it happens with Fake it Until You Make it).

Waiting for your own thoughts now.
