>It does make ya wonder a little how there going to jungle everything around.
yeah, agreed. It´s all a bit a mess and kind of hard to digest or see where they are projecting on. Even with previous thinking, I have a lot of struggle to see the intentions. However, I don´t know if this is a shitpost but I have read i a thread that season 8 seems to be a transitional season.....does that mean we are going to have another season 3 or 6?

>does every episode have to be in service of something else now?
question of the year. FiM universe is so huge and has so much lore out there that now the fans see a lot of potential to exploit that not many franchises can set up that easily. They feel disappointed that they are focusing on little things instead of the huge scheme of this magical land.

>this episode was a charming one that's for sure. Is it a disservice for them to make an episode like this with all the plot points they have?
they wanted to go back to season 1 or at least a certain vocal group. They get a simple episode and one that remains in Ponyville most of the time and follows a little story for one main character.
The ironic thing is that if you watch Party Pooped, Not Asking For Trouble and this episode in order, you do get a subtle arc for introducing the yaks and some lore while having simple slice of life morals for Pinkie without taking that subtlety into account. Sometimes we look at the grand scheme and we are ambitious as hell. Either the fans are asking for Avatar standards or the writers don´t put much effort for their audience....or both.

>Also Dolores is still a thing.
oh boy, I won´t review the episode for now but checking the main sites, you can see certain attitudes that are....mixed to sum it up.
>And the Princesses
the majority of the fanbase would circlejerk again about Luna if she had another episode despite its quality. The Princesses are mostly a fanservice these days, yeah.

>I can see those who hate the episode from what little it brings to the table amist all this chaos that is our little horse show.
