>I suppose that may come from permabans or the moderation of other pony sites
Nah, this is the only place where I'm a mod, and as far as I know, no permabans on this guy. I do had an IPban on 4chan recently, and it's frustrating as hell. With regular ban at least you clearly know what you were banned for and for how long, but with rangeban it's just "you have been rangebanned" and it leaves you in the dark. No info on when it's going to wear off. The lack of information is the worst part. Moreover it's affects the "innocent", however that may sound.

>mostly because you cannot filter what you feel to the outside
Mostly because it's magically so easy to tell hours upon hours about your life to anonymous letters on the screen than to do that in person. The urges are strong.

>so, were you a lurker that wanders around obscure places in his free time?
Ugh, I kind of written myself into a corner here. I'll just not so quietly drop the topic.

>It could also be used for something even more twisted:for a HI ANON shitpost in an unrelated board that you would never visit.
By all means, if you feel like it, go for it. I never had a luck for GETs myself.
