On the other hand, Tempest received the hype and the movie showed some hype. Not as much as one would desire but hey, she and the seaponies have had a good reception. What I feared the most (and was the most annoying part) was introducing the first images. The /mlp/ side isn´t certainly the most attracted one to new content and you have to introduce them subtly in order to convince them.
The movie has been a slow burner instead of a big hit but anyway, its status is better today than on its release (part of it at least)....and I cannot complain about that. There is enough content, they post them as if they weren´t exotic characters(this fandom works more with the usual and meme characters instead of characters that aren´t shown) and the pictures go on.
