the key of drawing them is this. Open the Sketchbook program and use the option that says guides. And here is the secret for drawing all their bodies:

By using a CURVE RULER

I am fool for not acknowledging this earlier but you can be a naughty artist and yet look like a professional with that tool. If you look closely to the contours of a pony,a seapony, a gryphon or even a dragon, their bodies rely on curves entirely.

I thought that drawing was like an insanely complicated task that only people like Picasso or well known painters could reach and maybe it is that difficult.

However, for MLP, you don't need to be all that skilled. In fact, with proper placement of the ruler, you can draw basically anything. I mean, it's all curves and a few counted lines.

I am stupid and I am saying this in 2020. How didn't I notice this at the very beginning? Perhaps I am a student of science who has never bothered to check the principles of plastic arts. But even then, by using the rulersof technical drawing, you can draw (almost) all the bodies without having a good balance in your hands and pretend that you are skilled when you aren't in the end.

That's everything you need. The rest (the shadows or lighting) is another topic but as for the basics, what I have said is more than enough.

This is what has driven me crazy tonight.
