If I had to put some kind of approximate tagging for Artemis is that it blends Minimalism (Ambient), Post Rock (first wave) and Spoken Word. The voices sound quite distant by the way and the closest example that reminds me of this practice is Daniel Johnston (whose discography I have yet to dig properly and I should do that at some point). Then the minimal part with the drums and piano sounds like Tortoise/Slint but this album is too static to even compare with those two(especially Tortoise).
Hard to classify. Is it a sound that just sort of blends into several gereres you mean?
