>Also none of the architecture looked like it came from Canterlot,
I thought the old station looked Canterlot like, though I suppose it still ain't quite enough to pin it to Canterlot.

>so either all of Canterlot was flattened by the great war
A great war makes so much sense too me. I mean, with the levels of paranoia and hatred, plus how we had the Pegasi in the fancy aristocratic city while the unicorns where in exile depressed among the trees, but noooooooooooooo, all these towns appeared to exist before the split. I don't discount some violence but I think this is just set far in the future. Timeline though feels more hard to place then with FiM's. I mean, part of me says the station shouldn't be too old yet with how things like the Castle of the Two Sister's standing intact for over a thousand years with still books intact and just dusty it could be a long time.

I wonder how long it is from the age of Twilight Sparkle? It seems like it should be a good bit with the way they talk. If they say it was a "thousand years" then that could leave some dark implications for her over Celestia's reign. I hope she didn't pull a Jake Skywalker!
