>>8251>what is a fandom? There was a thread on /tg/ where some author was writing lewd backstories about various DnD creatures, how they lived, bred, and could have sex with humans.
A
fandom is more than an agreed upon "style" - and how many styles are there of drawing, say, gnolls? But what they share is the understanding of where they came from, their culture, their mannerisms. Just try to find a gnoll wearing a top-hat and a monocle!
Aside from "in the sea", where to seaponies live? What are they like? Lyra would have us believe they're very musical, but maybe that's just one pony's fantasy?
Lyra has a fandom because we know she likes
hands; "Sea ponies" have ... one song, and no one but Lyra sings it.
