Shill bakers were part of @fj BO's team, we still don't know their identity. What i DO know is that they were still ACTIVE on QR 3 days b4 8chan went down--there's a post on this in the QRB notables on Sat night Aug 3, think that's right.

Purpose of sniping was to both show the suppression of bakers/breds and to post alternative bred titles to refute crap bred titles of shill bakers especially muh joos stuff. if you look in qresearch, you'll still see the muh joos titles in mid-july bakes.
The reason sniping works is that Alacrity doesn't immediately erase breds locked and marked for deletion. So you can stick an 'ad' up for a while; anyone looking at the catalog sees both the shill breds and the multiple attempts by bakers to post a 'free' bred.
