SOME NOTES ON HANDOFFS:
In this example bread we're in, the person who baked is still the baker--bc if he wanted to step down, he would say so in the dough post or soon after. Sometimes, a baker will announce they are hanging out until @200 (and then either go ghost or continue as baker).
You might wonder: why would a baker ask for handoff and then continue? Well, sometimes they prefer to handoff but are willing to continue if no one else can bake. Other times, they are happy to bake but know there are other bakers around who might like to bake, as well, espec. during early evening. Also, they want to encourage new bakers to step up. So they'll offer to handoff to anyone who would like to bake. Often, the oldfag baker will hang out as a "backup."
Seeking bakers:
In QR, where breads are fast, baker will often "advertise" for a replacement in the previous bred.
Sometimes at the start of that bred like this:
Can bake one bred
Can bake one maybe two
Can bake bred then IRL
Or in the middle of bread (often listed at bottom of a Notables update):
Baker seeking handoff NB
