The Resolution calls on the Government of the United States to continue to issue sanction which are set forth under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act of 2017, as well as sanctions under the Sergei Magnitsky Rule of Law Accountability Act of 2012. It also calls for the United States and European Union to impose additional sanctions on Russia if on the one-year anniversary of Russia’s aggression near the Kerch Strait, the Ukrainian ships and the detained Ukrainian sailors are still in Russian custody.
