There seem to be 2 dif. discussions going on here.
one is about bakers and their role in a board/bred (especially on QR).
The other is about how things work in breds on Q-End.
Most of the discussion seems to be on bakers, tho, so that's what i'll focus on below.

Bakers don't want or need special powers on any board. However, on 8chan, bakers so have a lot of responsibility--for the dough, notables, and bake.
After last March, they came under the attack of BO/BVs. The atmosphere created by BO/BVs was such that it had a generally chilling effect on the board and /comms/ between everything there. One of the effects was that it became very hard for bakers to talk with anons and vice-versa.
Some of this comes from oldstyle 8chan power dynamics but it was made much worse by the constant BO attacks and stories of baker's union possibility (which was completely unsauced and to my knowledge completely untrue).
All regular bakers were people I trusted as a fellow baker, knew their sacrifices. At the same time, saw that some bakers tended to be not very responsive to anons--partly temperament, partly chilled atmosphere, partly stress (due to no. of bakers being cut i half after attacks). This made a bad situation worse and eventually allowed BO to justify taking over the board and kicking out all bakers but his own (the real shills, kek).

When anons return to QR, important to be "eyes on" at all times. Situation is still not resolved.

We just lost 8chan for almost 3 months. When it comes back as 8kun, don't let BO/BVs to bully people around as they attempted to before Q said "revert the board." These "managers" did not start the board and only gained power thru illegitimate means. Must be held to account--if not for their past actions, certainly for their actions in the future.

Re baker and anon relationship:
Better comms will make things work smoother. Works on QRB, can work on QR. Why easier on QRB? Bc anons there are the ones who left QR bc they want to work in peace--and bc BO 8bit is competent and supportive without being invasive.
