There are many more interesting obelisks around the world. For example Tampere University of Technology (now joined up along with the trade university to the University of Tampere by political decree against the will of all the professors and staff, which reminds me of that supposed prophecy about three branches becoming one) has in front of the old main building a big obelisk covered in shiny mirroring fragments. This brings mirror symbolism to play along with a mini version of a reflecting pool like in Washington.

Another thing on the list, the belly of the dragon dripping water, reminds me of how a few years ago they shut down the Tammerkoski rapid in the city center for three days so that the riverbed was bared and only small pools of water were left in the rapid.

Tampere, Finland is a pretty interesting place architecture-wise. Tampere Cathedral in particular contains hidden pyramid eye symbolisms and has absolutely no genuine crosses inside unless a tilted grave marker in the altar painting counts. There are thirteen naked boys on the walls around the main area (12 in fresco carrying a long vine, 1 in the altar painting) and a serpent representing sin in the highest point of the ceiling. The serpent was the most controversial piece of then-contemporary art in the cathedral. There cross on the steeple outside also has a serpent entwined around it, but that one's not well visible from the ground.

The cathedral also has fresco versions of two paintings that are very famous in Finland and even have English Wikipedia pages:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wounded_Angel
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Garden_of_Death

Both paintings are ambiguous in symbolism and questionable from a Christian standpoint. For example, what is the identity of the "wounded angel"? Could the "wounded angel" be more appropriately a "fallen angel"? Say, Lucifer? The stained glass is interesting too. Phoenix is an occult symbol...

There's a lot to write about, but Finland isn't exactly in the center of most people's interest. I just hope the Storm comes soon and worldwide.
