Yes, more nodes = faster verification of everything, while everything is still decentralized and lives forever.

Trust is established through networks, so two+ networks verify the same message, and if both agree, it is validated and forever.

Larger the networkspace = larger computational requirements.

Trust problems come from, well, it would be pretty easy to overwhelm two small networks, so as I envision it you're going to need a mix of client validation and volunteer "server nodes" which are trusted to be involved in every network.

Problems are message insertion (imitating Q and validating it), and message removal (wrongly invalidating Q or anyone else's message).
These are solved by more computers on the grid, but that = $$$ or trust, it's a balancing act between the two.
