Agreed. That wasn't clear until I found the exact same stand with the hole. I learned a lot about logos though. The swoosh to the upper right is a very common artifact across the spectrum of logos. Makes me think someone has done some biofeedback research on what triggers what visually.
I did a dig several years ago on the Preview House where they give you a nice voucher for supper if you will wire up and watch random commercials and dramatic shorts. They know more about you after that than you will ever know about yourself.
