yeah give it a try. You'll see it's not as difficult as one might think.
Only remember to NEVER use it for security-relevant things (passwords, logins, banking, email etc)!!

I only use it to get around blocks either by nameservers or internet providers (like when for example some hotel would be blocking access to 8kun or my favourite movie download page).
Also, when a webpage is down for you, use for example
https://www.uptrends.com/tools/uptime
to check if it's down all over the world.
If not, choose your proxy location from
https://proxy-list.org/english/index.php
acc. to the results from uptrends. Soem proxies listed might not work....
Always switch back/off the proxy settings once you're done!!
Also, make sure the proxy you use is HTTPS capable, so traffic sent back & forth is encrypted.
