It led many to wonder why exactly Graham, who had been a harsh critic of Trump at one point, has so dutifully fallen in line with Trumpian politics and pushed so hard for Kavanaugh, to the point of angrily insulting and demeaning Blasey Ford, a Kavanaugh sexual assault accuser.
One group, the Democratic Coalition and its c0-founder, Scott Dworkin, launched an investigation into Graham and his possible ties to Russia and money laundering, which may help explain his compromised positions:
“BREAKING: @LindseyGrahamSC is now under investigation @TheDemCoalition for campaign finance violations and his links to Russian-tied interests. We found some sketchy things in his filings and also uncovered Russian ties. I will be delivering a report on our findings this weekend.”
