You are correct anon, there is the creep factor in every one of those.
An anon told me that our conscious minds do not (necessarily) perceive additional images but the unconscious component of our mind does and this starts and internal conflict as the unconscious tries to extract meaning.
Autists and psychic people are likely to feel this more acutely because of who we are.
