Tom Fitton specifically calls on Trump to reprimand the DOJ for not moving on prosecutions that have been referred and have gone nowhere, and Fitton would know.

Trump needs to do Trump. Read the Riot Act at the DOJ. Threaten that heads will roll if there are not results. The DOJ is in the Exec Branch; POTUS can do this. Slow walking these matters is clearly the modus operandi - make sure the Exec Branch finds the bottlenecks and wrings their necks. Do what he did at the VA - give Barr the ability to fire at will if need be.

For corruption this broad, this deep, this far-reaching, the DOJ has to fire on all cylinders, not clog up worse than ever. Best practices management such as hybrid public/private style at will termination is long overdue. Fitton himself makes the case best.
