I feel ya, brother. Every so often I attempt to begin to explain, in very simple layman's terms, the very basics of what I understand about Quantum Theory/physics/etc...to my normie coworkers who probably in all fairness have an I.Q. between 95-100; as soon as I start trying to explain it it's like their minds sort of shut down...I think it's cognitive dissonance, tbqh.
