(I'm apparently wayyy moar exhausted than I realized...good grief)

Once I had finally finished scanning my very few items & getting ready to leave, she said "I need to get your phone number so that we can talk for once without me having to interrupt you a dozen times to go assist other customers."....and I said "Absolutely!"...because aside from the once-weekly interaction over the last couple of years she is essentially a stranger to me who used to only make the usual polite banter that one typically expects.

Now I'm planting/cultivating seeds outside of my inner circle (coworkers and a couple of super casual friendships) to the cashier at Walmart...and once she learns/understands enough on her own I feel pretty confident that she'll be seeking to tell others in her inner circle....Remember, frens: 1+1=2 2+2=4...and onward and outward we spread like concentric circles on the surface of a pond.
