Just didn't provide any reason at all for why new thread is posted so early, especially on a bumplocked board. That just hurts visibility, it looks like a deadzone to newcomers, and makes everything slow right around the delta.

The "how long does it take" is either a red herring or actually proves my point -- anything that slows rate needs to be omitted if we expect to grow. This is the great awakening, not the secret awakening. The latter is some Illuminati shit.

Why change a proven good thing wholesale? If you think it can improve, do it incrementally.
Maybe there are some reasons to do it another way, like eligible poster's time and schedules... but if you gotta do it for that reason, turn off bumplocking so it's a self-correcting thing. That's how it was on 8.

I don't know, I'm fairly new here, maybe I've missed some great revelation to why such turnover styles are better, I just haven't heard the reasons.
