Don't remember that there was a definitive answer about either this or zeronet being comp'd, moar like "it's not 8chan" so who knows what's up?? With so many people looking for a chan--and many of us not tech wizards--anyone giving advice would want to err on the side of caution. Also, until the House cmte came out with their "request" (followed by a subpoena) for Jim W to testify, there was the sense that 8chan would be up with a few days at most.
